Her Majesty Queen Rania Celebrates Her Birthday Today 🎂🇯🇴

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah celebrates her 56th birthday today, August 31, 2026. Born Rania Al Yassin in Kuwait in 1970, she has served as Queen of Jordan since 1999 and has become widely known for her work supporting education, children, youth and social development. 
 

This year’s birthday comes at a special moment for the Royal Family. Earlier this month, Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Jameel Alexander Thermiotis welcomed twin daughters, Talia and Rania, making Queen Rania a grandmother of four. 

Over the years, Queen Rania has continued to champion education, child protection and humanitarian causes in Jordan and internationally, while representing the Kingdom on the global stage.
