A Jordanian Win! Tourism Revenues Hit $6 Billion in 9 Months 🇯🇴✨

Jordan’s tourism sector is back in the spotlight. Preliminary data from the Central Bank shows that from January to September 2025, the Kingdom earned nearly $6 billion in tourism revenue, a 6.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This reflects the sector’s strong recovery and its role as a major driver of the economy.

The growth comes with a 14.5% rise in tourist arrivals, and September alone brought in $622.4 million, up 1.4% from last year. Revenue from Asian tourists surged 36.2%, Europeans contributed 29.6% more, and Americans added 16.9%. Spending from Arab tourists grew 4.1%, while Jordanian expatriates saw a slight decline of 0.6%.

This success is the result of efforts by the Ministry of Tourism and the Jordan Tourism Board through marketing campaigns and new offerings in adventure, medical, and religious tourism. The results mean thousands of jobs, more foreign currency, and a stronger economy.

With this momentum, Jordan’s tourism sector is thriving and proving that the Kingdom is a top destination again for travelers worldwide. 🌍💫
