Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited Jabal Al Weibdeh this week, ahead of the return of Amman Design Week.

The Queen visited BLDR Space, where she met with Jordanian entrepreneurs and startup founders, includuing us at 7Hills Jordan, before heading to Darat Abu Adnan, a restored 1950s heritage home set to host part of this year’s programme. She met with the Amman Design Week team, explored works by participating designers and visited a weaving workshop.

Her visit comes ahead of the fourth edition of Amman Design Week, taking place from October 2–17 under the theme “Accumulations,” bringing together ideas, skills and traditions shaping Jordan’s creative landscape.

For the occasion, Queen Rania brought her signature understated elegance to the design-focused day, wearing a crisp white Dries Van Noten dress with burgundy embroidery, paired with a burgundy Bottega Veneta belt and Loewe Joya bag.

Launched in 2016 by an initiative of Queen Rania, Amman Design Week has grown into a platform showcasing local, regional and international design talent and supporting Amman’s creative scene.
