Macklemore Receives a Piece of Palestine After London Concert

Preview Macklemore receives a gift from Palestinian Ambassador Husam Zomlot

Macklemore has received a symbolic Palestinian gift following his Free Palestine concert in London, presented by Palestinian Ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot. 🇵🇸

The gift was a handcrafted olive-wood artwork containing Palestinian soil and olive leaves, representing the Palestinian people's roots, resilience and enduring connection to their land. It also carried a message of hope for freedom and justice.

The gesture followed Macklemore's October 30 performance at OVO Arena Wembley, marking the final stop of his European Free Palestine benefit tour, which also included concerts in Dublin and Paris.

Throughout the tour, Macklemore brought together artists and supporters to raise funds for 12 organisations providing humanitarian and community support to Palestinians.

The presentation adds another meaningful moment to the rapper's continued public support for Palestine, as he uses his music and platform to bring attention to the cause.
