Inside Macklemore's Free Palestine Tour Across Europe
Macklemore took his support for Palestine across Europe with a three-city benefit tour, bringing together musicians, activists and audiences in Dublin, Paris and London for a series of concerts centered on Palestinian voices and solidarity. 🇵🇸
The tour kicked off in Dublin on October 26, continued to Paris on October 29 and wrapped up at London's OVO Arena Wembley on October 30. Each show brought Macklemore together with fellow artists and special guests, turning the stage into a platform for music, advocacy and support for Palestinians.
Beyond the performances, the concerts had a humanitarian purpose, with all proceeds going towards 12 organizations supporting Palestinians through medical care, humanitarian assistance, education, community support and advocacy.
The initiative followed Macklemore's removal from the remaining North American dates of Ed Sheeran's tour after his public expressions of support for Palestine. Rather than stepping back, he announced the benefit concerts, bringing together artists who were also willing to use their platforms to speak up.
From Dublin to London, the tour brought music and activism into the same space, with a message that extended well beyond the stage.
